안진균(1983)의 사진 작업은 부모와 자식의 닮음을 사진의 재현성에 비유적으로 담아내고 있다. 사진의 질서 아래서 원본과 복사본 사이에 형성되는 위계와 같이 부모와 자식도 서로에게 닮음으로 종속되어 있다고 가정한다. 작가는 이러한 닮음의 견고한 체제를 전복시키려는 일련의 공허한 시도를 통해서 당연하고 절대적인 것들의 권위에 질문은 던진다.

Jinkyun Ahn(1983) investigates resemblance between parents and child through the very properties of photographic representation. He supposes parents and child are bound together by the power of resemblance similar to the hierarchy formed between the original and the reproduced under the order of photography. By making a series of empty attempts to subvert this solid system of resemblance, he questions the authority of what defines the natural and the absolute in creating the foundation of one’s identity.
